If diff. is stock watch out, I put the 555's on and on second launch at about 3500 snapped output shaft in diff. I think you will be satisfied with hooking ability of the tires when heated up though.

Yes there were a few different upgrades, I decided to just do a RPM built diff. but some guys just change to c6 z06 shafts, or 300mm hardened shafts, but it's an chain reaction as I am figuring out myself. The RPM or DTE diff's look to be real comparable, i found lots of good about both, but also found negative on DTE, that is why I went with RPM stage 3 with micropolished gears. No complaints so far. I also twisted an axle that same night in the process, my Z is 2001 making about 425 rwhp, it's fun until something breaks, lol. Good luck.

Can I get the entire joint and all from the c6 or is it just the cnter shaft that will work, like the splines going through the spindle and diff are the same as c5, juat wondering because I have no clue

My hard learned advice is to get the diff from one of the top end vendors [DTE, RTK56, RPM] as they have vast experiance. These units are very hard to set up right.
I went through a lot of money doing this the wrong way, with a vendor on here.
If you are launching hard on sticky tires, you will eventually break something.

That was my thinking exactly it did not look as simple as changing normal gear in a rear end unit to me. That's why I decided to leave it in the hands of guys that do this for a living and know exactly what they are doing, does cost quite a bit more money, but I just did not have the expertise. I think it was ronssnova on here gave me a detailed thread. I just did not feel comfortable with my own skills and did not want to take the chance
