yes gear replacement

spend the money and get the brass ones. there are a little pricey but you will only replace them once. I replaced one gear about 4 months ago with the stock plastic type and it has already started having issues . I just replaced both gears a few days ago with the brass gears and everything is back to normal. Make sure the drive motor is tight to the plastic housing. Hold the plastic housing and try to move the motor if it moves than you should tighten things up .

You can tighten it up by bending in the four tabs that connect the steel housing to the plastic one. Put it on a bench and with a nail set type of tool and a hammer bend in all the tabs until things tightens up thats it .

Cheers
