Hey guys and gals, a photoshop would be much appreciated. I'm about to pull the trigger on a set of CCW 505's but am undecided on whether to paint the centers and lips black or just paint the centers black and leave the lip polished.
I'm definitely going with polished lug nuts and center cap. Opinions are much appreciated as well
Thanks in advance

They look great as is. Black wheels don't do any car justice. You could save a lot of money and just paint some wagon wheels black. JMHO.
If you insist on black centers, leave the rim polished.

Sorry I should have clarified, the car pictured above is not my car. I just used the pic as a good reference of what my car would look like with CCW 505's.
This is actually my car as it sits right now
I'm leaning towards getting them painted for one, because I'm a fan of black rims and two, having owned polished rims in the past I remember how difficult they were to maintain

Paint the hood and put the CCW wheels on as they are, No paint on the wheels. And you will have a fine looking car.

Thanks Chris, I love my rims but am getting frustrated with the lack of tire selection with 20's in the rear. I suppose I could contact Modular Concepts for a pair of 19's just for the rear but I'm not sure if they still produce this rim.

Of course, these issues are a matter of the owner's opinion and I fully agree that however the owner wants it is ok with me. Maybe I grew up in a different generation. My first car in 1965 was a 57 Chevy. Of course, I was a kid and didn't have much money, but I dreamed of having chrome wheels on that car but never could afford them. I lived with painted wheels and hubcaps as a substitute. I fully understand the "look" of the black wheels, sort of a "mean" or "menacing" or "don't mess with me" look. However, I just don't care for it. The pics I see of great cars with black wheels just reminds me too much of the time when I couldn't afford some. I've seen blacked out cars with black wheels and blacked out cars with chrome wheels and the ones with chromies just stand out so much better. Alas, I still like 70s and 80s music too...
To the OP, hope it turns out the way you like because the Corvette is truly America's sport car. Enjoy it!!
