Best I could do since it is supposed to rain today. I'll have to wait a few days for the sunshine. The red GS 1 stripes really add some pop to an otherwise bland white only car. It ties in the red interior too.

The red stripes do a nice job of accenting the white car ! Can you run the stripe over the front block off plate ? Do you need to run a front plate in your state ? It would look more finished if you could complete the stripe.

Nice job Rick! Did you add the fender stripes as well or were those on before the center stripes?
I agree about the stripe over the plate. It would really complete the look if you could fill that in.
The white dice are also a mainstay!
Car looks great. I thought the red stripe might be a little too thin when you posted the earlier pics, however after seeing the full car, the stripe looks great and not over-the-top!
I know you've been wanting a C6 Z06, however even if you add to the stable, don't get rid of your C5. It's one of the most unique and one of my favorite C5s on the forum and I would miss seeing your upgrades. It's like watching a child grow up over the past 5 years!
Also - next mod should be a set of HID fogs!

Looks great. Why red???
Seriously though, I actually like it missing on the front plate cap. The only thing I would do differently would be to complete the stripe under the rear plate.
But I'm not 100% on that. Would I want it to stop at the white/black transition, which might end abruptly, or wrap all the way down over the black. Hmmm, not sure.
Even the option of it missing all together, that you have chosen, looks great and my indecisive antidote may be your reason for doing so.
Nice job.

I changed my mind, My C5 is far better now. Same power, better electronics, custom interior, better seats, same suspension, better looks(my opinion) so I couldn't see going into debt another $45,000 + when mine is paid for. NOR a new C7(really couldn't afford unless I stopped eating and sleeping under a roof.)

Looks really good Rick, I myself really liked your car all white, It kind of had a mystic look about it.
Now you can send a few more pictures for the slideshow.
