James - isn't the part that goes up into the wheel well fairly thin - just a flat piece that helps stabilize the splitter and add support? Not sure how that piece could get damaged from moving the wheel back and forth, but apparently it can.

I wish that it was thin , but it was just my luck that it was almost 5/8 of an inch thick , when I emailed the supplier back with the photes his reply was yep " you got the larger of the two " said he was in a meeting that he would call back in 5 mins . And never heard from him again ..
This is the second large purchase that I have made and most of these guys are a middle man

I emailed the pix to manufacturing and talked to them about it. I've literally sold 25-30 of these here on the forum and of these new thinner ones yours was the first one that had issues that I've heard of. And yes I was in a meeting and didn't get back to you ASAP but I don't know what you wanted me to do. I looked into it like I said I would but it was already drilled and mounted. It could be the offset on the wheels, brand or tires etc hard to say. Oh and yes I am the middle man, I don't own a manufacturing facility, I have the parts designed and built, don't see what you're getting at? Don't personally like being thrown under the bus when the issue wasn't because of the part we sold.

Whoa! Wait a second! I never said you got "the larger of the two" I said at one point they were larger in that area. I asked manufacturing if it was possible you got an old one and they said no way. Those larger ones were obsolete almost 1.5 years ago.

If he got an old model that WAS thicker on the vertical piece, and if that model wasn't supposed to be shipping any more, you could still do the right thing and ship him the correct part. Even if he cut up the other one,,, it wasn't supposed to be a "sellable" item anyway.
Just my humble, uninformed, opinion.

Oops. Well, we now know for sure who the supplier was. On one hand I give you credit for chiming in,,,,, on the other hand what you mostly did was bash your customer for throwing you under the bus when he never mentioned your name.......

James, everyone here already knew who makes these, again it's no secret. Post all the pictures you want. I have nothing to hide. As mentioned there are a lot of guys on here running this lip even a guy in your other thread who posted (JW) it just happened to not work with you're wheel/tire combo that is not something I can control. As far as people talking trash about my business, there is one thing I learned years ago. No matter how you treat people there will ALWAYS be people that complain.
I'm not here to argue, there are no hard feelings. Glad you got it fixed so it could fit on your car.

I have the older one and I had no issues. I'm still riding on the tiny 17's though.
Your wheel comes up a lot closer to the bumper than mine does.
