Top 15 Corvettes of all time?
Since I have both a C4 and C5, I'll put in both sections (will be interesting to see the different opinions). Feel free to post your top 15. Can base it on personal preference, looks, performance, importance to the line or a combination of all. Thanks for your input. Here's mine:

I'd say most important would be 1953, for obvious reasons.
Performance would be the ZR1, for obvious reasons.
Looks I would give to either '58 or '63.
Personal preference....anything before '78 and after '89.

The mid-year cars are the still one of the best looking cars ever made, with lines that just flow. The big block cars are without a doubt my favorite and command big money when in correct form.
Performance wise the new zr1 is ultimate but only a 6.2l
Take a new z06 add a blower to the 7.0l and you have a Monster of a corvette...not that you don't with the ZR1!
I like all the Bumper cars, after that my appeal does not again begin until the 90s.
Top Corvette = C4 ZR1. Its 20 years old now and think about it's competition at the time it arrived? There was not competition!
1. 1957 Fuel Car
2. 1963 Fuel Car
3. 1967 427 435hp or L88
4. 1965 396 425HP
5. 1990 ZR1
6. 1968 427
7. 1993 ZR1
8. 1995 ZR1
9. Z06's
10. Z06s "partial to the Z06"

Great thread - many amazing cars mentioned. I am not even going to attempt to narrow it down because there are way too many... makes me start thinking again about aborting my C5 for an earlier car.... but I do think our C5's could be classic and highly regarded among all Vettes... just not as valuable as the C3 and earlier... damn there are some sick older Vettes...

Also, I think some of the unique and nicely kept C4's will end up being hot cars... one of my favorite hot C5's is the 2001 White Z06... hot! Of course there are also the freaky low production cars like the Aztec gold and a couple others like that

To me, the 63 Swc doesn't really rate that high. Given a choice between that and a 66 or 67, I'll take the latter every time. I don't care about rare, give me substance.
Start at 2013, work your way down to 1986, from there, start at 1967 and go to the 50's, then work back in anything I missed :p

I really like all the vettes mentioned and its hard to have a favorite as I love anything Corvette but the bottom of my list would be any C3 from 74 to 77 and then the C4's except the ZR1 which is awesome , The top would be C6 Z and the ZR1 , but I really like them all in one way or another.

So everyone has valid and compelling reasons about which should be on the list....so I say let's expand the list to the best 350 Corvettes of all time...that ought to cover it.

My # 1 would have to be the 1963 Split Window Coupe. Pretty much any C2 would make my top ten along with the 1953 and 1957. After that 1968 to 1972 and C5 generation followed by the C6 and finally the C4.
