Dropped off the gray vette in Tennessee to get a color swap, moving from pewter gray to competition orange with roof/halo and rear valance/diffuser area painted black. Excited to get her back, hopefully it will be finished around December 20th or so.

I'm partial to silver....And I once had a bright orange car.... My advice would be better get used to a lot of attention (and not always the good kind)

Yeah cops are going to be staring me down on a consistent basis, 17 year-old in a corvette....it's worth it to me haha!
While I really like the pewter color on a C5 (had one myself), the orange will be a great color for your car. Keep us posted, especially with pics, as the repaint goes along.
Any reason why you're doing this in Tennessee? Is there a good shop here I should know about?

Unfortunately, I haven't gotten any pics of it yet in the process, the man hasn't been great on keeping me updated but as soon as I get any i'll be sure to throw them up here! This is going to be a drastic change!
A young guy in a bright corvette brings alot of unwanted (and sometimes wanted) attention. If I had to do it again I would have gotten a black vette... (ask me how I know)

you WILL GET TIRED OF THE ATTENTION my car is lambo green and is not daily driven anymore. haters and cops the main cause. look into house of kolor sunset pearl. house of kolor tangelo. and lambo orange all very bright and good looking
