Congratulations Reeves Callaway and Callaway Cars:

Mid-week, last week, I got a call from the folks at Bloomington Gold with some great news - they have accepted Reeves Callaway and Callaway Cars into the Bloomington Gold Great Hall for 2013. While Reeves Callaway has been a longtime supporter of the Bloomington Gold Corvette show and his cars featured many times as part of the Bloomington Gold Special Collection, including the Callaway Special Collection XX, this is a nod to Reeves, personally, for all his contributions to the Corvette World.

Please help congratulate Reeves Callaway on this accolade for him and his company. See you at Bloomington Gold in June!

Our friends at Bloomington Gold announced the fourth year inductees to the Bloomington Gold Great Hall. Every year (for only 5 years!) a team of distinguished people in the Corvette Hobby vote via secret ballot to choose the Great Hall inductees. The inductees are 10 "people"/organizations and 10 extremely special/milestone Corvettes. It's a very special honor.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL!

This year the following 10 people/events are being honored:
Mike Antonick
Zora Arkus-Duntov
Bloomington Gold
Reeves Callaway
Carlisle Productions
Chip Miller
William Mitchell
Jim Perkins
Dr. Dick Thompson
Mike Yager

This year the following Corvettes are being honored:
1953 s/n 003
1957 Fuel Injection Icon (1 HP per CID)
1961 Gulf Racing Icon
1962 First 327
1963 Grand Sport Icon
1965 First Big Block Icon
1967 L88 Daytona Racer
Chevrolet Corvette Factory Series Racer
Callaway Cars Icon
Z06 Icon (Factory production 500+ HP, 2006)
ZR1 Icon (Factory production 600+ HP, 2009)

Congrats! Hope you can still make the NCCO All Corvette Charity Car Show at Marc Heitz Chevy in Norman, OK next spring. The United States Marine Corps and the Toys for Tots Progam are counting on Callaway's continued support!
