Z06 wheels on a coupe?

I put Z06 speedlines on my '99.
A couple of pictures are below to show fitment.
I went with 255/45/17 front and 285/40/18 rear. These should work on either the base wheels or the wider Z06 wheels. The Z06 wheels do move the outer edge a little bit outboard compared to the base wheels, but no fit problems.
These tire sizes are also closer in diameter to the base tires than the Z06 size tires. These will make the speedometer on a base car read 60mph at 60.7 actual speed, so pretty close (about 1%). The Z06 tires are smaller than the base sizes by about 2% (or read 60mph at about 58.8 actual speed)
Good luck with your choices.

I chose the Goodyear F1 Supercars in a 285/40/18 size for rear tires since they are only $170 at Tire Rack or $184 shipped from Discount Tire Direct, but I wasn't trying to match the same model Goodyear's on the front. (Plus there is an $80 rebate if you buy 4, but I only needed 2) (Actually I found mine on the forum almost new for less.) There are lots of 255/45/17 tires at good prices if you aren't concerned with matching.
I hope this helps.

No problem, the world is full of C5 coupes with stock C5 ZO6 wheels on them.

The Z06 size wheels will fit just fine - I ran a set on my '00 coupe. Tire sizes would be 265/40-17 in the front and 295/35-18 in the rear.

Here are a few more. And I threw in an extra with magnesium wheels.
By the way the "new" photobucket is really bad. It locked up internet explorer and mozilla firefox. It wouldn't let me log in or get off the feedback page. Finally I got it to go back to the old photobucket and it worked normally. (Rant over)
