Default Well I got the dreaded warning lights!

Yep, today the "ABS" and "Traction Control light" came on with the "Service Vehicle Soon" warning. I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later. Car still operated just fine, I guess later in the next day or so I'll start the reseraching old threads and figure it out.

Thanks....but fix and easy never went together in the same sentence for me. Usually it was &^%$ fix was a %$#^ pain to do. But easy for everyone else who watched me do it.

Possibly the steering wheel position (angle) switch. I got the service vehicle soon with service traction control. I also had cruise control problems, automatically kicking off. Since I got it replaced no problems at all.

Sure hope it is not a real expensive fix. Good luck with the repair.

keep your fingers crossed that it's either your steering wheel position sensor, a wheel speed sensor, or a bad ground. Hopefully, your EBCM is not toast.

These errors pop up on me every once in a while. Typically comes and goes w/ key cycle though. I suspect I have a ground that's just a little dirty. Hope you're able to resolve your issue easily. Please keep us updated with what you find / repair!

Had my steering wheel position sensor go out and had the same warnings pop up... Be careful... I had to turn off the traction control every time I got in the car to drive until I finally got a new sensor... The reason, at 70 mph on the highway my car pulled to the left when the brakes decided to kiss the rotor ever so slightly... It happened two more times at low speed(20-30mph). Just forgot to deactivate. The first time I about shat myself...

Be careful!

Pull the codes. Most of the issues I have seen with ABS systems were wiring related.

UPDATE....finally got around to checking the fuse box first under the hood....it was a 10amp fuse that had blown. I'm sure it was from the rain deluge I drove thru the day before, all is right now.
