New to forum with new to me 04 A4 cpe
Got my first Vette a few weeks ago. I started reading all of the posts about looking for a used C5 way back in January and I am very happy I did. It took a long time but with all that I learned I feel that I got a great car for a good price. M.Y. was my preferred color but there seems to be more silver cars to choose from and this one was a 1 owner and completely original when I picked it up. No disappointment here though because this one is tight and very clean over, under, inside and out.
Thank you all for passing on what you have learned.
Within the first two weeks I picked up a set of ramps, built front and rear jacking blocks, replaced all of the fluids and filters, Then added a 160 t-stat, cleaned the radiator and condenser, put on new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus, 4 wheel alignment, new plugs and wires, front frame skid guards, Vararam, Z06 ti. muffler and an x-pipe. I then got a custom tune. I am going to enjoy it for a while and then I may consider a 3:42 gear change.
I will be taking a trip up the coast from L.A. to Big Sur and Monterey for a few days next week. I am more excited about driving the Vette than what we will do while we are there.
Thanks again for passing on all of the great info and for the best forum.

I can't think of any greater Corvette than an '04 A4 Coupe.
Great find!
And welcome to the forum! You'll have a good time here - we're not only knowledgeable, but sometimes you'll find a trace of humor, and more opinions to choose from than anything!

Beautiful car you bought - pewter is a great color. And welcome to the forum - hope you enjoy both the car and your experience here.

Congrats. Looks great.
Curious on the color, as it looks Pewter. If it is Pewter, 2002 was the last year before changing to Spiral Gray. Pics look too light for the Spiral Gray.
Anyways, enjoy the ride.
