Went out to drive my Vette to work this morning only to find that the spring/clip had given out on the passenger side mirror, resulting in the dreaded floppy mirror.

I had this happen to my driver's side mirror several years ago and had it fixed by a gentleman in Ohio. Does anyone know if he still performs these repairs?

I've also seen some of the "how to's" that are posted on this site regarding fixing side mirrors. How difficult is it? Seems like it's the cutting/rewiring that makes it the most complicated. I've spliced in a new turn signal socket before; is what you need to do with the mirror any more difficult then that?
