Default Said goodbye to my C5 today

Well today was the day. The new owner arrived about 11:00 this morning to load up my car and head back to New York. Mixed emotions about seeing it leave thats for sure. If it wasn't for me buying this car back in 2005 I would never have been here today as a vendor and making so many new friends in all of you guys.

Sad to see it go but on the other hand looking forward to a C6 in the future
Just trying to decide between a low mile 2009 Z06 and a GS Vert.

Dont worry I am not leaving the Corvette family and will still get to enjoy a C5...just wont be mine I am working on anymore as it will be one of yours

Dennis

All clean and ready to roll

Getting loaded up onto the scary Uhaul trailer

New Owner checking it out!

as she drives away.

Has to be a sad day for you Dennis. You put a lot of blood, sweat, tears and money into your C5. Hope you get back into a Vette soon, whether it be the C6 Z06 you mentioned when I was at your shop last week or you go the route of a GS Vert. Some day I hope to get back up there with my car and let you do some magic to it.

Mr.Bill

going to look for something like one of these two currently on EBAY

I am really liking the Torch Red GS Vert...to bad this one is an automatic.

Or maybe a 09 Cyber Gray Z

Not in a hurry to find one just going to take my time. With winter coming on I might let someone else store the car for me till spring

Sorry to see that, good luck with the next one.

Oh, if that's your yard, you need to water the grass and pull those weeds

Kinda Jack.
But as I said if it wasnt for this car I would have never been able to have people like yourself stop by on a surprise visit to the shop.
You really caught me off guard that day Glad you took the time to stop by it was great to meet you!

I still have every car but one that I have ever bought. The one I sold was a 1970 Coronet with a 440/727. That is one regret. I still have my first car, a 1993 V6 Camaro, a 1994 Z28 (slightly modified ), my motorcycle, a 1999 SS and of course my 2004 Corvette.

Cyber Grey Z06 hands down.
