Default what glass cleaner do you use?

I've never liked how my windows look after I clean them. While I'm asking what brand of towel do you use with the glass cleaner?

I use RainX with a microfibre clothe. If you apply it correctly, you almost don't need to use the wipers.

After struggling with this for years, I finally have a solution that works fantastic for me resulting in crystal clear glass with no film or smears.

I use Stoner "Invisible Glass Cleaner" with a windows-specific green MF towel.

The key is that the first time you use the windows-specific MF towel, it doesn't work very well until it gets damp after the first use. Once the MF towel becomes damp and completely saturated, you only need a little window cleaner for great results!

The windows-specific MF towel is a finer texture than other MF towels that you use for detail spray or waxing/polishing. I usually hang mine up after cleaning my windows and it stays damp for the next time I need it.

I have about 5 of them and then wash them all together after they get dirty, which is not often.

I've had good results using a damp "real" chamois. I have been using Griot's Foaming Glass Cleaner on the outside part of the windows only (too much over spray to use inside imo). Going to try the special MF.

Same here. I used to use the newspaper, but the mf towel seems to steak less and clean more. Will have to try the glass specific mf towel.

I use Stoner's "Invisible Glass Cleaner", seems to be the most recommended one.

Another vote for Stoner's Invisible Glass. I apply it with a microfiber towel, then use a second mf towel to finish the process. When the second towel begins to "drag" or pull across the glass with resistance, you're done.

Stoner stuff is great but I try to avoid a microfiber towel. Too streaky.

I use ________________ insert your favorite cleaner in blank space. Then micro-fiber towels and rub like crazy then, I do it again with less cleaner. I favor doing this with bright sun beaming through the glass from the front. I go back a third time and touch up any spots I've missed.

Vinegar/water/liquid dish soap/newspaper....

1/4 cup vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon liquid soap or detergent, and 2 cups of water in a spray bottle. Shake to blend, spray on your windows, wipe it down!

old-school...works for me... :thumb

Of course RainX on exterior windshield!!

It's absolutely the best way to wash a window.

But I do get lazy sometimes and use invisiglass with newspaper.
