What are you non run-flat guys bringing with you nowadays...
My new wheels will be here this coming week. They have non-runflat tires on them. I want to be preparred for an emergency.
What are you guys carrying with you?
Feel free to post links
Don't the fix-a-flat substances mess up the tire pressure sensors?

nothing ... aaa card
in 35 years of driving ive never had to fix a flat along the road
just a nail twice which wasnt an immediate problem
tire technology is so good that flats are mostly a thing of the past

I have the Hankooks, and I carry nothing other than my AAA card, plus the roadside & flatbed service provided by my insurance carrier. Can't remember the last time I had a flat tire on any car - and the Vette only travels on decent roads unlike my daily drivers which often travel on dirt roads. I do pay attention to tire pressures - check them weekly - and check the TPMS readouts once every time out with the car. Other than the unlikely blowout, I feel the car will tell you that you need to do something about the tires if you only pay a little attention to it, plus the TPMS will warn you if any tire begins to lose pressure. I might consider carrying a mini-compressor but I won't use the slime.

I carry the Slime repair kit that includes an air compressor and the automotive patch kits that I would try first before using the slime. All depending on where and when the problem occurs. I also have my smartphone programmed with my insurance information and towing options.
I also carry a roadside emergency kit in all my vehicles. That kit includes:
- Latex mechanics gloves (Ever change a flat tire in a suit?!)
- Old beach towel (in case I need to lay down on the ground)
- A few terry cloth towels to clean up
- Hand cleaner wipes
- Extendable lug nut wrench with lock nut adopter, etc.
- Small scissor jack (Corvette) - Other vehicles have jacks
- Box of extra fuses
- Small travel tool kit - Cheapie kit from Wallyworld that has sockets/open wrenches & screwdriver
- Jumper cables
- Tall bottle/still sealed of Evian water
- Duct tape or other temporary rubber hose band-aids
- Small can of WD40
I live in Florida, so I don't carry the blankets and other cold-weather supplies I used to when I lived in Chicago but now I carry some bug spray.
I know some people laugh at this, however I was averaging over 30K miles per year on business and stuff always happens when you least expect it. The purpose of the kit is to simply get you out of a bad situation into a better than bad situation in case a cell phone, credit card and tow can't help in the time required.

In 35 years of driving i've had 2 flats. One was a blow out, the other was a beer bottle that slashed the sidewall. Neither of those were repairable.
Odds are in your favor. If you're paranoid load down your car with jacks, spares, tools, kitchen sinks, as long as it makes you warm and fuzzy feeling. Me? AAA and a cellphone.

I agree with MSG C5 I actually carry everything he does plus a first aid kit and fire extinguisher.
But, the one time I needed AAA because of a alternator problem, not a flat on a C4 that I owned . . . no phone service. I was out of the cell phone reception area and sat on the side of the road in the dessert with 104 degree temp for hours before someone stopped to help. The guy that stopped to help drove the 30 miles to town and called AAA for me. Another couple of hours went by before the tow truck arrived. I may over prepare now, but better safe than sorry. Would rather carry more tools than I need on my trips, than not have that one thing I didn't bring.
So, if you think all you need is a cell phone and AAA card . . . think again! That would work, fine around town, but maybe not so much on a long road trip. When the unthinkable happens you may be out of cell phone range . . . I found out the hard way.

Many of us may have not had any issues over the years, however on the flipside, I know other people who have had 3 or more road side emergencies in a year. A little luck and a little planning I guess.
I know my list above sounds like a lot, however I store all that stuff, including the small scissor jack, plus a couple extra jackets for cool Florida evenings in this nifty C5 duffel bag. It was given away "free" from the dealership to anyone who bought a new Corvette back in 2004. What a deal!
Carrying around a small duffel bag with $75 of emergency stuff is a small price to pay for me.

Everything I carry fits in my two small trunk compartments. I carry a 12v compressor, plug kit, spare fuses, gloves, flashlight, multi tool, folding knife, poncho, jumper cables, zip ties, duct tape, electrical tape, a few micro fibers, and some spray detailer. If its a long road trip I have snacks with me and that always includes water so no real need to add to it. I figure if I can't fix it with the stuff I have the tow is the least of my problems anyways.

$30 12v compressor with a built in light and a $5 tire plug kit. Keep them stored away out of view in the rear compartments. Makes me feel confident on a trip knowing I have a pretty good chance of fixing this problem if it is just a nail and the tire leaks off and goes flat or something.

I carry the Slime roadside tire repair kit from Walmart. Got it for like $50 and it comes with a portable air compressor, slime, tire plugs, valve core removal tool, etc. Slime and Fix-a-flat say they are TPMS safe, and even if not, a $50 tire pressor sensor is a small price to pay to be able to get you on the road again to a tire repair shop if you are left stranded in the middle of nowhere.
And if by some chance the tire is unrepairable, then I will call a flat-bed and use my towing coverage on my insurance!

AAA, a cell phone and a credit card..
HINT: Upgrade your AAA membership to towing up to 100 miles IIRC.
I don't wear a rain coat all the time either just because it rains occasionally.

That's a good list! I own a vert and unfortunately (or I guess fortunately) I lost the center storage compartment to my sub and my passenger side trunk storage compartment to my amp leaving me only the driver's side storage compartment. Thus the duffel bag solution for me...
