Without it my flat cap would be in the passenger footwell at 50MPH. It stays on to 70+, top down, windows down now. I', 5'6", a taller driver might get different results. Cuts buffeting noise dramatically too.

I'd like to buy the wind restrictor windscreen. If I get the illuminated one, then it appears that I should choose from one of a few options on how to light it. I gather that the glow module, dimmer control and on/off switch are alternatives; and the battery pack and 12-volt plug are alternatives. So that a complete package for the illuminated screen would be, for example, the glow module and the 12-volt plug. Is that correct? And where does the 12-volt plug plug into ? Is there a receptacle in the trunk?

I'm looking to place an order soon, but I want to make sure that I know what I'm doing.

If you get the Illuminated one, you do not "need" to order anything
else. You can hardwire it directly into your tail light or head light
wires. In this configuration, it will light up when you turn your
head lights on.

If you get the glow module, it can run on batteries and does not
need to be hardwired. The glow module give you complete control
over the lighting, bright/dim/patterns/on/off.

Chip

Thanks, Chip. If I get the glow module, do I also need to get either the battery pack or the 12-volt plug, or is the glow module by itself sufficient?

I really wish they would make one for the coupe. I saw one on a C6 at a car show. I can't figure out why they don't make one for the C5.
