nice progress...I think his front end has an overbite look that is not as attractive as the C5...agree?

Ties into the mods to the rear fascia and side brake duct exits.
I'm adding a few more chrome pieces to the front that will make them tie in better.
Not going for a "mean" look with this car....more of a California Sunshine Cruizer with Bruizer power and cat like handling ;-)

Yeah, Ive seen a bunch do that on the F150 Ford truck headlights, they would paint the inside and it turned out good. I think they would bake the headlight assembly in a regular over at a certain temp and then the assembly would come apart easier when the glue warmed up.

Its a subjective thing
regardless of where you land on aesthetic preference, there is no debating the numbers....my car is faster, more agile, and has a lot better quality of construction ;-)
Its in better condition after 126,000 miles and 15 years than his car is after 3,500 miles and 8 years

Basically its a lower performing disposable car that costs 10 times more than mine lol
Basically, buying a Ferrari is only about two things...funding a subpar Formula 1 team....and having a flashy well engineered but poorly built ego symble that sits in your garage.
My car is a real driver's car, with higher performance, that can be driven hard everyday for decades.

I have not updated this thread in a while!
And since I'm going to take the car in a whole new direction I'd thought I'd revive it.
Am gunna do something a but unique, and convert the car into a lightweight Roadster dedicated track day car.
I am taking the whole car apart and removing every possible bit of weight to try and get it down to 2500-2600 lbs....we'll see if its possible.
Some people dismiss the idea of a vert track day car, but I love going fast with the roof off, and I can get it pretty close to as light as a Z06 I think.
As far as stiffness goes, a cage will stiffen up the vert deficiencies there I think.
I'll post picks as I go along.
I am think of going with a Crower crank and Quartermaster lightweight racing clutch for a lightweight rotating assembly, but need some advice on the most bulletproof valve train, i.e. lifters and all that.
Would like to spend less than $5000 bulletproofing my ls6...any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
