Default cray wheels and tire sizes

I am replacing the wheels and tires on my 99 convertible.Car will be used for cruising and short trips. No track days or racing. I am going with the Cray Manta wheels in chrome. 19's in back,18's up front. For tires I was told 285 - 35's in back and 245 - 40's in the front. plan to lower the rear 1 inch with WCC's lowering bolt.Looking for input and opinions.

How wide are your wheels? I have the stock wheels on my car 17x8.5 and 18x9.5 and I'm running 265/40/17 and 295/35/18. I know you have larger wheels but if the widths are the same you should be able to run similar sizes.

I have 245/35/18 f and 285/30/19r on Cray Mantas, I'm not real happy with the look of the sidewall on the back, to skinny.

You need at least a 295 if not a 305 in the back otherwise it will look skinny back there. Im sure lot of guys will be posting in on this.

I have Cray Scorpion wheels with Nitto Invo tires. The recommended 18/19 sizes are 18 x 9 wheel (265/35/18 tires) in front and 19 x 10.5 wheel (305/30/19 tires) in the rear. The offset and fit are perfect.

I've got 18/19s
245/40/18 front
285/35/19 rear
same diameter as stock c5 tires.

thanks for all the input on the tire sizes. I ran the 3 different sizes and converted to inches for overall diameter size. The sizes I originally posted and confirmed by Phil appear to have the largest diameter, which is what I am looking for to fill up the wheel wells.Any thoughts or concerns on lowering just the rear?

Cray suggests 245/40/18 and 285/35/19.

Let us know if you're still looking for a vendor for these. We offer them.
