2003 black on black Z. Bought her early 2010 when I was 27 with 38k on the clock. The only reason I'm posting if because she turned 77,777 miles old today (clearly she's my DD. We've even driven through some snow together). She had a corsa cat-back when I bought her. Now she's got full bolt-ons.... and a long list of other goodies that don't effect her manners as a DD.

If so I chatted with you a while re your G8 and your Z...

Intermediate
But yeah I would never have been able to afford a vette when I was in my early/mid-twenties... I thought I was doing good with a 96 Integra!

Wow, you ultra young guys must have been saving your money since you started mowing lawns at 10 or something (I do not like the classic "is that daddy's car?" or "did mommy and daddy buy that for you?" comments I used to get as a kid with my Camaro, so I don't assume it on others). Although I am curious how you guys came up with the funds for them since i know it took me a long while to save up for one.

A Honda Civic cost more than a C5/Z06; the biggest for most is probably this car IE, no house payment.

Pro
24 years old.
I just bought mine in Dec 2011 just after I turned 24 (about 7 months after I graduated college).
H/C/I/E Flares, coilovers, custom paint, whole deal.
I had a 99 Trans Am before that while I was in college. I have no idea how people are affording these cars at 18-21.

Black 04Z
Bought it 3 yrs ago at 22k
Im 27 now... 33k
I drive it less now that I have kids, and work more.
I take it out once a month in the hills and open her up
Looking to get a 09Z also.
My wife asks why, you already have the 04.
I keep sayin, its like the kids, why stop at 1.
Love corvettes!
Somehow the people on this forum are the only ones who understand
