Let me guess...To LOOK like the pace car(and add a few $$$ to the msrp).

I love the 98 pace cars, very bold color choice. If I owned one I would have to ditch the wagons(spokes are too wide for the color), but the wheels would still be yellow. Love the overall look.

I had one for 11 years before a little old lady totaled it last June. 162k miles on it.

Had a chance to get something different, and was hearing whispering in my ear..."get a new convertible Grand Sport"...

But I didn't listen. I just found another 98 Pace car. 46k miles on it when I bought it last August. 60k miles on it now.

I don’t expect everyone to love the pace car or even like it but there is no need to be rude about it. There are plenty of corvettes I don’t like the looks of, if asked I’ll tell them its nothing I would want etc. My Grandpa use to say “Opinions are like A--holes everyone’s got one, just some are bigger then others.” I’ve seen a few big opinions on the C3, and the C5 Forum I'm sure I'll see plenty more.

No idea. Always some on ebay so I'd say enough if you want one. I had a harder time finding my "run of he mill" Navy Blue Vert.

Exactly. I don't believe anyone here could pull up one post of mine where I personally hated on anyone's Corvette, for any reason, or any mod they may have done. I'm not like that, it's your car, have at it, have fun, and if you like it, I'm happy for you because I really don't care what people do to their vehicles.
