Opinion on C6 Z06 wheels on C5
I have a 2001 C5 and I'm looking to upgrade the wheels. I really like the look of the chrome C6 Z06 wheels.
First question, would you recommend going with the replica wheels in the stock size of 17 in the front and 18 in the back? I would prefer to go 18 in the front and 19 in the back but I'm concerned they may not look right.
Can anyone recommend a good place to find replica wheels? Or is it better to go with the oem wheels?

The factory Z06 C6 wheels are much wider and will stick out a little
There is a bunch of pics in this thread of C6 Z06 replicas and maybe a few OEM fit on C5

Personally I would buy C6 diameter and C5 width unless you get some L5 fenders. to cover those C6 oem monsters

That's what I'm leaning towards. Do you know anywhere that sells them that you can recommend? I'd like to hear of a few good places that make quality stuff. I've seen various prices.

I think 18/19 wheels would look very good on the car - they are on the C6 from the factory that way and a number of other wheels are available in 18/19 sizes. I think I would see if I could find some that have the stock C5 offsets so you wouldn't have to worry about spacers or tires sticking out side the fender.

Works for me....perfect wheel for the car. Took my stuff to a whole different level in terms of aggressiveness. Big fat 345's out back to lay down my 578whp. I have C6Z offsets and L5 rears (obviously).

Just go to the page where your picture is...there is a "share" button, click it, then select IMG CODE and copy and paste it..
Your code for that picture [ IMG]http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/r544/Wildb302/Cars/Z061.jpg[/IMG]
I added a space after the first bracket so the code wouldn't work so you can see what it looks like. When you cut and paste the space won't be there and the tag will work.

I have original C6 z06 wheels on mine. I get a lot of compliments on them. The only thing that I had an issue was the tire hitting the rear fender...But again I had the car slammed...Since then I have lifted the rear and no issues at all. Yeah they still out a little in the rear.. but i actually like it. Looks aggressive..... soon ill do wider flares.
Enjoy

If you go with c6z OEM, you may need to add more camber to the front so they stay tucked in under the front fenders. As for the rear, I wouldn't bother unless your going to run flares. There are always a tonne of them for sale in the c6 for sale section. I was going to go this route as well since I have flares, but opted to go with forgestars c5 offset up front, and custom offset for the rear. It cost a few dollars more but really not that bad.

Go 19x11 rear and 18x9.5 front!
You can get them here in these sizes specifically for the C5 offset:

This is the combo I have:
Thanks,Matt
