PAinted radiator overfill tank cover-fitting issue
I have purchased a set of painted engine covers for my 04 coupe and have an issue with the radiator overflow tank. I am unable to catch the threads of the tank when installing the cap over the cover. Is there something I am missing? Do you have to modify or replace the cap? Any ideas would be great. Thanks Everyone

I believe you put the cover over the cap, not the other way 'round. That's the only way mine fits.

I have a cover that fits over my stock radiator overflow tank and it has a hole cut in it large enough that the stock cap screws down on the tank just fine. Not sure exactly what your cover looks like, but IMO you should not have to modify or replace the cap for things to go back together. Like was mentioned above, your cover may work by putting the cover over the installed cap.

Covers are different by manufacturer and/or vendor. Who provided your covers?
