Funny because I would never drive a yellow business sedan however I love the look of a yellow Z06!

I hope I'm understanding your question correctly, for me, all of the factory colors chosen for the C5 (to the best of my memory) worked well at accentuating the flowing lines of the car. So, the color didn't matter as much as the body style. In fact, the Corvette I own isn't even the color I wanted to look at on the lot where I finally purchased this one. I wouldn't mind if my Corvette was Spiral Gray, Millenium Yellow, Nassau Blue Metallic, or any other factory color.
However, with that being said, I have seen a great number of custom paint jobs on C5s that ruin the look of the car and would make me feel ashamed to be seen in them.

There are colors I do not want and would not buy that came on the C5 -and being the colors I like is the reason I have owned the ones I have. But, thankfully, there is only one or two colors that I wouldn't really want.

What color you choose on other cars you own may not look good on a Corvette. JMO

Good question, I had a string of black cars over the last 20 years and still love black; I could sneak around. frankly, I wanted my vette to be "in your face", and I looked for a yellow vette for about 6 months, and I realized I kept spotting the red ones. It's bright, shiny, polished chrome wheels, make a great entrance. You cannot sneak around in Torch Red, when you show up, you really show up.

There are some colors I like better than others, but to answer your question, no.
