That guy actually has some pretty cool C5 items at a reasonable price.
There are two types of dividers. One made from MDF board and the other foam. I've read good reports on both. I have the MDF board with the mirror in the center myself.

the point of the thread was to save me time and money from the possibility of buying junk. was hoping someone else has tried it out and could give me a review or recommend another brand.

I know from other threads on partitions here that some guys do have the foam ones and they all seemed happy with them. I was actually going to make one myself, but by the time I bought everything it was going to be over a hundred bucks.
I think the one you're looking at is priced well. There is another vendor here who sells a partition that is also priced really well, but I can't for the life of me remember who it is. If i do remember I will send you a pm.
Maybe someone else will come along and help you out.

Melting Slicks
I bought one of the dividers made out of plexiglass. It has vinyl with a window on one side, and carpet on the other. Bought it from Corvette Partz. I guess it wasn't the dumbest $127.27 I've ever spent, but..................... I don't really notice a difference in noise or temperature whether it's in or out. It's nice looking, don't get me wrong. I was kind of disappointed it had a "Made in China" sticker on it.

I should have said this earlier. When I was thinking about making my own I wanted something while I was deciding what to do. So I took a body pillow and put a nice slip on it and put it in like you would a partition. It fit nicely.
Then when I got my MDF partition I noticed the pillow made it quieter than the partition did, but the partition obviously looked better.
The moral to this is, I believe the foam partitions will be more of a noticable sound deadening than the MDF board.

That's what I figured. A person would have to be made of rubber to use it inside , and I'm sure your labor/design skills were the bulk of the cost. Those small tv's don't cost much.
