New C 5 owner with weird issue, any ideas ?
Ok I have only owned my 2002 low mileage C 5 for about 6 weeks and have only washed it say 15 times or so since I have owned it. This past weekend I washed her including under all 4 wheel wells. I got in to take a drive up to the local market right after and as i was sitting in the seat I felt 1 drop of water hit my leg from under the dash. That was it 1 drop and didnt see any more water. So i drive a couple of miles up the road to the market, go inside for say 30 minutes come out and head home. I turn on my turn signal and it flashes a few times then stops. I try right , left nothing. I try hazzards nothing!! well as I drive on I keep trying them and all of a sudden they start working fine. They are still working fine but the drop of water and the short time they didnt work worry me. Anyone have any ideas ?

i would not be too worried about it..if you only washed the wheel wells it would be pretty hard for water to travel that far to your under your dash ..pretty much impossible for that to happen...

It could be that your AC drain tube is backed up. But generally when that happens it drips into the passenger foot well.

I wouldnt think it would be your drain plug for your ac, my money would be on the flasher acting up but from my understanding the hazards usually still work fine. Im always able to press the hazards switch to get my blinkers working again and then press it a bunch of times to clean the contacts up so they will work for another few months.

Try cleaning the trash out of your udders.

Jim is on the right track. If they are plugged you are heading for trouble electrical wise. Check the passenger footwell for moisture,,,soon.
If you udders are plugged you will get water into the interior,,,,big problems can happen fast. Especially with your frequent baths.

Thanks all for the information. Went out and checked the utters. 2 in the front clean the one just to the rear of these 2 full of leaves. Clear now and hope this takes care of the water drip. Have not had anymore issues with the flashers or turn signals yet.
