Made this little video today. Stock 2004 Z with 11k on the odo. About 35 seconds in I bring it up to about 4800 RPM in 3rd rear. You can rear what sounds like a super charger whine. Is it normal or do you think it could be the rear end? I do see a few drops on the garage floor after it sits all winter, but not every day..thoughts? check the video below:

really hard to tell with a video.

First thing I would do is change out the trans and diff fluid.

Is it only in that one gear? Quiet at lower rpm and more pronounced the higher you go? Does it under load only?

Nothing sounded abnormal to me. Pretty much just like my 01' Z06c.

There has always been a whine sound in mine, and I bought it brand new. I like it!
