Finally got a C5!
I went from a slightly modded 2000 camaro ss which was slightly modded. Then a 355 H/C LT1 which i currently still own and finally got my hands on this 2003 C5. I am definitely familiar with LS1's and F-bodys, but I am a total noob when it comes to C5s, especially since this one is an Auto and I'm pretty clueless when it comes to the 4l60e. In the two weeks that I've owned it I have blacked out the lights and plastidipped the rear fascia. Also just got the corsa system and dual cutouts put on. I love the car so far, much more comfortable and "put together" that I am used to in my Fbody. However, the auto transmission can getting pretty frustrating. Roll racing this thing sucks and I feel like it could be shifting a lot firmer.. However I'm sure there is a mod for that.

Yep, you can have the shift firmness adjusted with either taking the car to a HP tuner or buy a hand held tuner and tune it yourself.
I would go with the HP tune myself, that way you already own the credits for the tune and you can re-tune if you do something else to mod the engine.

Congrats on the car & welcome!!!
As far as the 4l60e like stated above a tune can firm up the shifts or transgo sells a shift kit. I had a 2000 Z28 w/a 4l60e & put the trango kit on it, WOW what a diff!

Congrats on the ride!! And welcome to the Forum!! There is a wealth of knowledge on this site and it is an excellent community for all Corvette enthusiasts.
It looks like you have already caught the "Mod bug". The more you peruse the sight the more ingenious ideas you will come across for custom modifications! The sky is the limit with these cars!

Thanks for the welcome guys, I am done modding for now, but the next thing on my list is a predator hand held or some sort of lap top program "hp tuners or ls1 edit" just to adjust the way it shifts. Eventually the plan is to get this thing procharged! but thats not going to happen anytime soon, maybe.. haha.

Congrats on getting your C5. Really hope you are not street racing the car - very touchy subject here on the forum.
