Default I'm In Love With My Vette....

Well, I guess it's my turn to make one of these kind of threads. I went on a long drive with my Vette today and I just have to say that I absolutely love it. They are incredibly easy to work on, aftermarket is vast, support/forums is huge, looks amazing, big power N/A, lots of potential, handles great, very comfortable, and the list goes on and on.

I consider myself a pretty active car enthusiast. I'm not bias towards any model car. (I own a 700 whp Cobra which sleeps next to my Vette at night lol). But I have to say - I think I'll be a Vette owner for as long as I am living. These rides are something else and I just can't get enough of them .

Anyway - Just wanted to get that out there . Happy cruising and keep the wave alive!

Once you get into a Corvette, it's hard to go back to normal life.

6 years into Corvette ownership, and I'm on Corvette #3. This one I plan on being buried in.

I was a Ford guy for soo many years, I lived and breathed 5.0liter, 302, and 289. I had sky high 4x4's, fast Mustang GT's, and even 3 Mercury 67-68 Cougars.

BUT NOTHING has made me more excited than my last 3 Vettes.

That I got the perfect Corvette for me on the first try amazes me as well.

My former Daily Driver was a Mustang GT also. Now it is someone elses because I too, am sold on my Vette. I can't imagine owning ANY thing else. Except... one vette after another. (BIG SMILE)Rock On!

There is just something that sets it apart from the rest. The overall feel of the car is just so... overtaking. I feel so satisfied in it - of course I'll always want to improve it but there's just this feeling when you drive one that really puts it in it's own class. I'm sold on Vettes forever .

I'm a big Mustang guy also . I absolutely love my Cobra and despite it having 200+ whp over my H/C Vette - I still find my C5 equally as exciting! I feel like I have such big plans for my Vette moving forward and I think this is the one I'll keep forever .

I think the majority of the owners here on the forum feel just the way you do. I know I do.

Diving into a remotely located hard right turn from 4th to 2nd that then sweeps uphill slightly and to the left at a nice radius so that I can get back to third at the exit, then a few seconds in 4th, then 5th for a bit before braking to make that DAMN stop sign!

I sorry, I forgot the question

Oh, the love thing,,,,Yes!

Nice . Spirited driving uner safe conditions is one of my favorites lol (of course I'm safe). There are a few nice roads down where I am with a bunch of twisties. It's very cool making the hard turns and then laying into it on the straights . Yes, I enjoy myself lol

I've never enjoyed a car as much as this vette.
It always makes me smile when driving or just looking at it.

Was a huge mustang enthusiast myself for years. (still love the 03/04 terminators)...cobra. But after purchasing my 01 it's been unlike any other car iv driven. For the $ there is nothing else remotely close in comparison. 34mpg on the highway and enough power to make the girls scream. Not too mention it looks like a super car... How does a mustang or camaro look? Haha. I love when people see my c5 and immediately say "how the hell can you afford something that nice" little do they know it's 11 years old and cost me half of what they paid for their 2 year old pickup. Love corvettes! Nice thread

Yep - I really think the Vette is an impressive ride. Now - my Cobra would probably take it nicely on a straight away but nothing compares to how fun the Vette is overall. I am still a Mustang enthusiast but seriously the Vette is a true "drivers" car and I will own one forever

Default Love it!

Before I got my first Vette (1985/C3) in 2005, a car was just a car.
The following year, I had to sell it so we could buy a new horse trailer.

I told my husband then that I would have another Vette someday. In 2009, I bought a 1997. I love it!

Took my 14 yr old daughter out for a drive on Easter and when I asked her if she was ready to go back home (at our normal turn around spot), she said keep driving! Maybe she's hooked????

Have a great Corvette day!!

Michelle
