Default Electronic Shifting Problem

I have a 2000 LS1. I lost my top gear and got a check engine light while 100 miles away from home. I disconnected the battery for about 30 min., and the car ran great all the way home. Two days later, the same thing happened. It runs good, but won't shift into overdrive. I pulled out the ol' OBD II, and got a P0758 code: Shift Solenoid B Circuit Electrical. Two questions: can I get lucky and have this be an autozone $29.00 part instead of an overpriced dealer only repair? Secondly, if this is a self-fix, where is this solenoid located?

I changed it out on my Envoy. There are youtube vids on this. Just type in Solenoid b 4l60E.
