[Z06] 2003 C5Z: 28K: Whats it worth?
#22
Intermediate
Paid 23,500 last Saturday for and 02 with 19,800 miles, stock, needed new tires and some detailing TLC, did have to fix the ac vent blower issue, hole in vacum line under battery. A few scratches the buffer took care of. Love it!

Based on your situation, I think a stock c5 would be a better investment
Buy one for 15k
You will get most of your money back
With dropping c6 prices (as mentioned), the z06 c5 is not as good of an investment, if that is what you are looking for

I would pay a few grand more for a car with so few miles like yours. Congrats.

I don't know if investment is the right work.. Im not looking for it to appreciate. Im looking for it to not depreciate TOO much. So looking to buy at a price that allows it it maintain most( not all) of its value of the future.

This is precisely why I don't understand how so many unrealistically low mileage Corvettes exist. I can't not drive the thing. Every time I see another new Camaro, Mustang, Porsche, etc. and I'm not in the Vette I die a little inside. FWIW to the OP, I gave $20k for an '04 CE Z06 with 97k on the clock and it doesn't use a lick of oil, motor still looks like brand new under the valve cover, and still drives super tight. All normal wear items are items I plan to upgrade and are therefore a moot point.

I paid 25k for mine a month ago, it's an 03 EB with 29k on it. I know I paid a bit to much, BUT it was exactly what I wanted, local, in near mint shape and almost completely stock minus a B&B cat back.
