Is This a SCAM?? Need some opinion/help!
Hey guys, I recently posted my 98 Vert up for sale. I received a a couple of interested party, but one that really seems suspicious is from a person claiming to be from London that is really interested in my car. First they text me and ask me to emailed them. This is the response I was given.
"Thanks for getting back to me, i'm located at(32 Leabank Square, London,e9 5lr England) actually i want to purchase this
for my In-law, i will like to purchase at the listed price so that you won't sell to another person.i really have interest
in buying it for my In-law and i'm not within your premises to pay cash, and PayPal is my only option which i think you
accept,or if you can open a PayPal account, I'll be very happy to go on with this transaction? can you get the account
ready."
What do you guys think? Looks like a scam but not 100% sure.

I would persue your other interested party. I don't think that is going anywhere you want it to...He is also looking to buy a snowmobile...post 28

Scam central !
Next this guy is going to say is he has too much money and he'll send you a check for $39.000 or some other increased amount and for you to send the overage back to him. Total scam. If he wants to send you a check, deposit it and call your Attorney Generals office.

LOL. Just reread the bogus scam... No one buys a car for their in laws! Not to mention gives full asking price, without even seeing the car. This guy isn't even clever. You should lead him on like you are excited to make the sale, and then post some of his responses.
I've had crap like this before - he will tell you has a "mover" to pick up the car. So common.
