Default Hyperflash install

I received the hyperflash resistors from corvette mods but without any installation insructions.! Anyone who has installed these can tell me how to install them? I called the vendor but am still waiting for an answer don't know when they will get back to me.
Any help is appreciated.

I have one since I swapped out all of my exterior bulbs andover of my interior bulbs to LED. Mine works fine as I have no issues with hyper flash or anything else. I will look for my directions, however you simply need to remove the lower knee bolster panel and install the bypass.

Edit - I am referring to the hyper flash harness not the resistors. Might be talking apples and oranges.

Is this it? real simple...just look under the dash and splice it in between the connectors that match.

The resistors will get hot and melt your wiring if not installed correctly. I already went through this problem . Your best bet is to install a hyper flash harness and do away with the resistors.

would installing a hyperflash harness be better than installing the resistor as far as installing hid lows and fogs? only reason i ask is my buckets wont go down after the install and i didnt install the resistor yet

Can I just ask those who installed the harness, how much force did you use for the side with the sensor when taking panel off..... mines at the point where I'm going to need to use some force to move it, and fear it may break! it has no screw holding it in, so may be fixed in anohter way..... don't fancy taking out the centre consul!! as that sounds like a nightmare

The HF harness won't do anything for your headlights, This is what you need.

Go to jwmotoring website for install instructions for the hyper flash harness, its better that you look at the install pics.

I had the resisters installed inline with my corner LED wiring and then still had hyperflash issues when I installed the rear LED's, so installed the Hyperflash harness, simple install, and it cured all my problems. The resister on the passenger side DRL caused the wiring and socket to overheat and melted it together like a post mentioned above. JW advised that with the Hyperflash harness you would not need any more resisters installed and I removed them.

My advise, buy the hyperflash harness and don't mess with the resisters if you are doing any type of LED lightning upgrades. I learned the hard way and now have to replace the DRL socket and bulb.

i just bought the harness…….and it didn't work for me. Once I turn my approach lights on or the headlights on, the flashing lights and "clicking sounds" (from over near the glove box it sounds like) go away. As soon as I turn the lights off, it comes back….crazy flashing and clicking. I have led turn signals and led reverse lights btw. Any one have help with this?….couldn't seem to get too many answers in my other thread. I feel like Im driving in a pos car, not a vette, with the flashing and clicking going on. $70 bones on the harness, and it didn't fix it too…..Thanks guys!
