Best cop moments?
I was watching a video from superspeeders and some of their best cop moments (some being in their C5) and wondering if anyone else here has any good stories.
if you dont know who these guys are, they have 6 or 7 dvd's out but their basically like top gear but in the US and real. The main guy I think owns an exotic rental company.

I don't have any good cop moments in my C4, but I was driving through AZ a year or two ago, keeping it under 100, when I noticed a pair of headlights drop in behind me. After about five minutes, he lit me up and I pulled a nice safe distance off the highway.
The trooper sauntered up to my window and asked if I knew the speed limit for the long, easy curve I'd taken about a mile back. I said I didn't, and he let me know that it was 45. I took it at "85+." I had the cruise set for a different number, so I wasn't about to argue.
He and his partner had been hanging back to see if I would open up the tap once the road straightened out, "to, like, 130 or so, so we could impound your car."
"Sorry to disappoint y'all," I said, to which he replied, "Eh, it happens."
Then he wrote me up a warning(!) and sent me on my way.

I was out in the mountains and it was right after I got the vette. I was on a straight going around 90 (speed limit 55) and I am coming up behind a SUV. So I am still crusing with the intent to pass this suv when I catch him, as I get closer something doesnt look right and I slam the brakes, it was a police suv lol. So he slows way down to like 45mph and I catch him and I am keeping my distance behind him when I see him pull off to the side, infront of him is a CHP car who also pulls off, so I fully expect to get pulled over here. They turn their lights on and I slow way down almost stopped on the highway and the guy in the suv is waving me past. As we go past my fiance looks over at him and you could tell he was pissed. As we passed they both flipped U turns and sped off with their lights and sirens on. Got lucky with them getting a call as I was pulling up.
Also did a burnout through an intersection and got caught by a bike cop, had a nice hour long conversation with him telling me about his mustang and let me go with a warning.

One recent story.
A few friends and I were on a poker run a few weeks back. We had a group of 10 cars or so rolling in our group out of the 200 that showed up. We were taking some back country roads with nice turns and twisties. I was the lead car and I came out of this long right banked sweeper going 80mph or so in a 35mph..... This led into a long hilly straight. I got it hard, grabbed fourth and then the local Sheriff crested over the hill down a ways in the other lane coming towards us. I got on the brakes hard and started grabbing gears.
He lit me up and we came to stop next to each other. I got a, "What the hell are you doing son? Don't do this here. The group right before you damn near wrecked when I lit them up. They were racing and acting like fools. I see you own a Corvette, much like myself, so you must know how to drive and have some kind of sense. Slow down and take it somewhere else."
Repeated the same thing to everyone behind me. After that we slowed it down some but still doing over the speedlimit. After a few miles we crested another hill and luckily there was a stop sign. The same Sheriff was sitting at the intersection talking to another Sheriff. If that wouldn't of been an intersection we would blown right by him again.
We met up with him again a few miles later at a gas station that was a checkpoint for the poker run and he was really cool. He said he had a 98 Vert back home that he was messing with and he likes to go out on the twisties too, haha.

back in the 70's my dad was pulled over in his new muscle car (cant remember right now for some reason what one) going 140+ through Nevada. Cop came up to the car and asked if he knew how fast he was going, my dad said something like "No ... my speedo only goes up to 140 and it was pegged". Cop laughs and lets him go. There was no speed limit on that road in the 70's and the cop was just checking to make sure he was sober.

they asked me if it was mine when i got stopped... i asked them to do their job and look on the screen in the car, as i held my id out.
they constantly stop me, hence my dislike for the local pd here
