Did you get your car tuned?

Did you tune out the rear O2's?

Peace

Yes, The car was tuned, And No, Thet did not turn off the rear sensors,, I wanted to fix the problem. The turner said it was a problem with the LG headers, It was the way that they postion the bungs in the headers.

Never heard of an issue like that 15 years...

Also never heard of a tuner leaving the rear 02's on.

The high flow cats will trip them every time the car is turned on.

Peace

Thank you,, I will post when the problem is sloved. LG does make good headers. I like mine, just a small problem.

The high flow cats take a long time to heat up, until they do,
they code. (also why 99 and up have 4 cats - 2 pup cats to fire off
fast and heat up before the bigger cats)

You can always give Mike or Chris at ECS a call.

They do the flash tuning for a lot of our header customers. You can
just mail your ecbm to them and they will flash it and send it back.

Peace
Chip

Headers will always code your car.

You need a tune to get the air/fuel correct.

You will also need to tune out your rear o2s

Thanks Chip!

Anyone purchasing headers from CCA can take advantage of our $149 mail in tune special to take care of the codes and optimize the performance of the headers.

Hopefully making the entire purchase easier for everyone involved, and you do not need to worry about purchasing your headers from Chip and having any problems with state inspection.

Want these so bad... almost had saved up enough too but then lost my job. Got another one very quickly but it will take a little while to recover... for now... I will drool.
