Default Cat **** problem!

First off, this is a serious question. And, no I'm not angry at my exhaust. Seems that C5's are irresistible targets for felines to mark their territory. My car is usually garaged over night, but if I park the car outside for any length of time (I do not have a motorized garage door and its a PITA putting the car away every time), some damn neighborhood cats love to get on my car and leave their territorial puddles on my windshield. Any tricks for keeping the bastards off? Anyone else have this problem? Never happens on my other cars. I know vettes are targets, but this is ridiculous.

Don't know of anything off hand that repels cats in a humane manner.

I would either recommend taking the extra time involved in manually opening and closing said garage door or investing in a garage door opener. Just my 2 cents.

Yea, what b.lee said. Damn, I type way to slow.

I have this exact same problem. When I park my car under my car port, I ALWAYS come out the next morning to find dried cat **** on the roof or the trunk lid. I have no idea why, I mean my dad told me I'd get p**** with this car; I wasn't aware he meant cats. I've solved it by letting my german shepherd stay in the yard all night. The only other thing I've ever heard of to repel cats is soak a rag in some strong cologne or perfume and put it near the car. I think it's supposed to be too strong for them to bear.

A friend had this problem. He solved it by setting mouse traps all over his car. Once they get hurt ( foot in trap ) they learn and don't come back!

Antifreeze in a bowl, will kill them, also if you have the weapon and suppressed 22 works great. My neighbors keep their cats in their yards after a few disapeared.

a dozen or so mouse traps on top of the car will teach them a lesson !!
