Start by typing "Headers" into the search bar. There are literally hundreds of threads with the answers to your questions. I don't mean to sound rude, it's just that no one can specifically tell you what to get. Read up on what other people have done and find out what sounds best for you. Good luck and let us know what you end up with

This is discussed almost daily. The size of your headers depends on your future plans if you gonna do headers only or maybe a cam do 1 3/4 inch headers if you gonna do a blower or something more radical do 1 7/8 headers. I have 1 7/8 American Racing Headers with 3 inch primaries and the corsa pace cat back. My car is a blower car. You will get many opinions on this and the best option is to get out and hear different setups.

I have kooks coated LT's with a B&B bullets out back on my 2000 vert. If you like loud with some drone you will love the set up. I put the cats back on way too loud with them off on my H/C setup. If your ever in the ATL, shoot me a message and you can hear for your self.

Here is a really sweet sounding setup, AR Headers, no cats x-pipe and top it off with Corsa Pace Cars, they rock and zero drone out of the Corsas

You'll get plenty of opinions on exhaust. I recently went through a long search for a catback that took me about 2 months to decide...you can read about it here:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...nd-videos.html

My current setup is 1 7/8" kooks, x-pipe w/hi-flow cats and XSPower catback.

I had American Racing Headers on my old car and they fit great.

If you "show" your car, then get your headers ceramic coated. Oh, and you don't need CAPS. ALL CAPS is construed as SHOUTING!

For headers you won't go wrong with a brand like LG, Kooks, American Racing or XS Power. They will come with a good x-pipe along with either cats or no-cats. Then add a good catback exhaust like Corsa Pace Cars, B&B Bullets, etc, and you'll be set.

I had the full B&B system installed (LT Headers, High Flo Cats, X-Pipe, and PRT's). Not only does it look like a well made exhaust, it sounds incredible!! Nice tone at idle, nice performance rumble at highway speeds, and at WOT sounds like the bullets. Absolutely no drone on my 98 Coupe. I have had a few different systems over the years, IMHO this is one of the best on the market. Worth at least looking into...

Great color by the way

Good Luck!

street and show with some get up and go. 1 3/4 lt's arh, kooks, lg,s with high flow cats. cat back i like for show is corsa tiger shark tips pace car for some added pazazz. i used to have this catback but have gone to corsa extremes for weight racing reasons and they look good also like the tiger shark but the tips are spread apart unlike the tigers but same tips. you'd be lookiung at just over 2k if you can find quality used on forum. with arh high flow cats and mid pipes you wont need a x-pipe
