Molded Rear Black Out Kits!!

Does anyone know if these allow more light through than the flat versions? I have a problem, or others rather, with seeing my taillights in the sunlight, and not seeing my brake lights, causing people to get uncomfortably close to me when I'm slowing down to make a turn..

but after multiple pics from other people and a video, they seem farily bright.
as far as if they are brighter than the flats? i think they would be close to the same brightness really..
if you have flats one already and want to change to these for more light, i doubt you will accomplisuh that. but these plus some LED bulbs..
solve your problem right up!
again look at pictures above from people who posted in regards to my lighting question.. they look fairly bright and in a decent amount of day light

Hey Marc!
Got mine yesterday and put them in!
just took some quick shots so they are not the best BUT..
and sorry for this one i know its sideways..
Fitment was great, 3M tape sticks like crazy.. Just make sure that if you take the backing off the tape and you stick it on.. that its where you want it, cause MAN its sticky stuff once its on..
In regards to how dark they are and if enough light shines through..
if you read through the thread you will see i was very scared about light shinning through.. my last vette i used VHT night shades and it was so dark that during the day time noone could see my brake lights on the Highway... Scarey stupid stuff..
i have not had someone push the brake for me to take a look yet.. but i can tell you that i have driven today in sunlight on streets and the highway, and there is no question people see my lights and dont slam on the brakes behind me anymore..
Thank you again Marc!

Trust me when i say this.. i am the most scared person when it comes to these.. Georgia cops dont like them haha.. but i promise these work pretty well even in the day..
are they still dark? Yes... but if i can get away with it in GA and not get rear ended and people can see my tails in the 1-2 hour stop and go traffic im in.. im sure youll be just fine!
Just to be on the safe side, im still planning on ordering some LED bulbs for the tails, just so when i have my lights running during the day they will since even more and look even more red.
Good luck! and feel free to PM me with any questions or if you need more pics etc..
Matt

We're there cars in those pics? Lol.
Hey I wanna give Marc a big thubs up and thanks for the excellent service. You might find these covers elsewhere for the same price, but I doubt you will get the same level of service.
Thanks Marc and Brooke!

I have the flat ones, although I like them they just are not 100% but these look amazing.
Only question, where is the link for molded ones for just the tail lights? All I see are these http://www.vettenuts.net/index.php?l...t_detail&p=439 and they appear to be the flat ones.
