Removing alternator bracket
I am currently polishing my alternator and I would like to know if anyone has detailed pics of alternator bracket removal. I will also be polishing the bracket. It looks like I will have to pull the power stering pump pully to get to some of the bolts.

This thread from the past was the best I could find when I did mine last year. I found it very helpful.

1. batt. disco
2. alt. remover x2 bolts
3. remove PS lines x2
4. x4 15mm bolts on RHS cylinder head
5. remove bracket w/ PS pump/pulley
6. Autozone sells a basic PS pump pulley remover/installer
If you have trouble PM me and I can reply to this thread
shorty 15mm wrench will help, and focus on the hard to get bolts (the x4 15mm) 2 will be 'wrench only'
NOTE: they make those 'plyable' drain funnels you can form, would be great for this task, as the PS fluid can be a pita to 'contain'

Thanks for the information.
When re installing the bracket and pump, I think it would be better to put the pully back on last.
Correct me if I am wrong.
