I live within shouting distance of St.Louis and I never really store it,,no nasty active weather and I drive it. I know that many in the midwest store them for the winter,,BUT it has been SO mild for the most part, it's been prime driving time.January had 15 days 50's or above,,many 60's and even some 70's. SO you leaving them in storage,,or have you been getting them out for some fun?? Took mine to a golf course last tuesday,,and going to another tomorrow!! Beats the crap out of last winter!!

In Green Bay, WI. Store it at least 5 months every year. This winter has been very mild for us up here too, but we got a snow storm back in November and I swear to God they went ballistic with the salt. It's still on the roads. It's too bad, I could have kept the Z out later. She's been sound asleep under a blanket since then.

Its been very mild in SW Ohio. They've only had to lay salt down twice this winter, and we've had sooooo much rain that the roads have remained clear. I've gotten her out almost every week minus a few.

I had mine out on Tuesday too. Recharged the battery with a trip to Cleveland's lake front and took some pictures.

I never really store mine either. The ones I have now I don't drive them if there is salt on the roads. This winter has been so mild that we have had some rains to wash off the salt, so I have been driving them this year.

The last few years I have had a daily driver corvette that I drove year round, even in the snow. I had an 88 and then a 94. They actually drove pretty well with the right tires on them.

We still have too much salt on the roads here in metro Detroit. Plus I have the top end of the motor torn apart to replace valve springs so it's not going anywhere until my winter projects are completed.

I am in SE Wisconsin and mine has been gone since December 1st. Mainly due to the fact that I have a 2 car garage. I want my DD in the garage for the winter months and there is no way I can get my wife to keep hers outside.

Also, even though the winter has been mild, there is still a ton of salt on the roads. I'm not liking that on my DD let alone my vette. It also keeps me excited to drive the vette come spring and not get bored with it.

I daily drive mine (live in Clayton, MO - inner ring suburb to St. Louis)! Bought it last November with 2800 miles, now has 4800.

I'm in central IL and mine's been in hibernation since the last snow. And it will be there at least until the next rain knocks the salt off the roads. Been a good winter, got to drive it on clean roads in Dec and Jan.... hoping I'll get a few days in Feb too!

2nd yr in the midwest for me & the vette is uncovered again. I pick & choose the days where the roads are almost dry & pretty much salt free. I admit mine is pretty much a garage queen but I enjoy it too much to have it sleep during the winter months. If I had a classic I might think differently.

We've had a very mild winter as well here in MN, but there's still a bit of snow, slush and ice. No way I'll take the chance with nearly bald tires. She'll be hibernating for a couple more months I'm sure:

I drive mine as often as i can. It was sunny and 65 degrees yesterday. I'm not leaving anything for someone else to drive when i'm gone.

I am also in Missouri and don't really store mine. I keep it ready but with a charger on it all winter. Any day that the roads are dry and sun shinning I take her out for a drive. I think that it is good for the car and especially good for me to combat the winter blahs. On average it probably gets a run every three weeks in winter.

I put mine away Dec. 1st due to the cold and the few light snow showers we've had. They've seemed to DUMB the salt around here and it still on the roads. I've taken it around the neighborhood a few times to keep it moving, but not out on the roads. I'm hoping to bring it out late March early April. I also change the insurance policy over the winter to help me save a few bucks since I'm not driving it.

Can't wait for the spring to take it out and drive it like I stole it!!!!

Mine has been stored since about the 1st of December, and will stay until around the 1st of March.

This winter I could have driven it alot, but have the insurance switched to comp only while in storage.
