Another Gauge Bezel Trim Ring question
Yes, I did use the search function.
My question is to anyone who installed a set, what finish are they? I've seen some pics where they're highly reflective because of a polished finish. I'm looking to get an aluminum set that has a brushed/matte finish.
So far I'm having a hard time finding a set that aren't polished. Using the search function, I've found several links to sites where the pics of the product aren't good enough to determine the finish of the rings. Also found some that aren't polished but they're the ABS plastic craps that have mold seams and aren't the exact same size as the bezel, creating a small gap between the ends of the rings.
So please, anyone who knows the finish of an aluminum set of rings, could you please point me in the right direction.

Here's another option to consider. RPI Designs offers painted gauge bezels for the C5.

Like TR6speed, I install white face gauges at the same time, but you can get then colored or plain. Plain anodized coating on non-colored aluminum do not reflect.
You will like them.

They are definitely a matte finish, not shiny, but provides an extremely nice look during the day. At night they slightly reflect a purplish light from the fluorescent IC tubes.
By the way, I didn't want to go anywhere near my IC with super glue, so I used a very thin, very strong double sided tape that is used for attaching body side molding and other similar automotive applications. Worked great.

You can control the intensity of blue or green. I have the switch for off/on and brightness under the ash tray panel.
Will never go back.

Thanks alot Sempi....is it one color like a blu/green that depends on the intensity of the brightness or can I get either a blue or green background? Are the red rings visible at night? And WOW ....I've never seen any car let alone a vette with over 222 K miles.....

Could you please post a link of where you got them or if that's not allowed, then PM I guess, thanks.
Same request, details of the rings and where you got them, thanks. Off topic...that's one chunky SW

Yes, you can see the rings at night. I will try and take a better pic for you tonight. I like about 80 miles to hit 225,000, and it still drives like a dream. Every week, someone asks me if it is a new Vette. They freak when I tell them the year and mileage.
It's a wonderful thing.

As far as my Steering wheel, DS Vettes did it and Lino made it extra thick for me because I have big hands! The cost was $500, but that included a Bloomington Gold discount and Veteran discount! The wheel really feels good, one of my favorite mods
It's funny that people either love it extra thick or they hate it!
If you can palm a basketball with 3 fingers, you will really like the extra thick! Heres a few more pics, and sorry OP, don't mean to hijack your thread!
