Default Should I be concerned?

This probably a stupid question but I am very new to Corvettes. After only a few miles after cleaning there is black soot on the inside rim (very visable) of my Corsa exhaust tips, especially the two inside ones. Is this normal or should I do something about it?

May be running a little rich, how many miles, do you see a puff of blue or could be called black smoke on heavy take offs? Some vettes with higher miles burn a little oil, I know mine does but I have no smoke or black tips.. Good luck...

It's 11 years old but less than 37K miles. I see no visable smoke. So I shouldn't worry about it?

Enjoy driving your vette, if you are doing a lot of stop/start driving your engine will richen the mixture. Mine does the same if I am doing alot "city" driving.

Thank you Olbear1962, it didn't dawn on me (duh...) that all of my driving has been just a couple of miles around here on very short trips (I have several other vehicles, plus I am retired) since I bought it. I'll bet if I jumped on the interstate and went 100 miles it wouldn't be any worse than after 10 miles around here.

Mine does the same thing - I just wipe them down after each drive to keep them looking good.

I use this stuff on my Corsa, it works great. Just takes some elbow grease.
