Default Pics of my CE Coupe with new wheels & tires

Nothing fancy like carbon fiber HRE wheels, but I think the polished Z16 wheels look great on the Lemans Blue cars. I have had the new wheels sitting around for years and now that it was time for tires I put on some Continental Extreme DW tires, and I love the new look.

Here are the original wheels

I like it - but then I may be just a little bit biased.

I really loved the originals, and will be keeping them in a safe place. They will probably go back on when these tires wear out. I just like how changing rims changes the look of the car, and it makes it "fresh" again. One of my other tires has a plug now, which rules them out for HPDE, at least for me it does. I may mount some Kumho's on my spare magnesium rims and use those for track days.

I went with 275/40-17 Fronts and 295/35-18 Rears

Cold for VA the last few days has been 50-60 Degrees F, and they have handled great. If they don't treat the roads next week I should get a chance to test them in the 30's.

I have been thinking about it. I want to run these a few more weeks and be sure I don't have any rubbing issues in the front with the 275's. The front edge of the tire is very close to the inner fender to outer fender bolts. I may drop it some when I install my stainless brake lines.

Love the new look.

Those polished Z16 wheels are my favorite C5 wheels. I want a set too, but I haven't been able to find any yet.

Looks Great!
