A first for me......
Typically my C5 is buttened up and stored for the New Jersey winter, however; weather has been very mild and no snow yet. I took advantage and for the first time since owning Black Beauty, I had her out, top down on Christmas.....Nice and hoping I can double up and take her out on New Years!!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.

A Very Merry Christmas to all.
Same sunny weather here in Chicago, 42 degrees with no snow. First time in three years with no white Christmas, but you won't here me complaining. Just took my C5 Vert out too just to make sure no stores were open and get ice...lol....but no top down, but next best thing to it. The only thing that would of been better is the Bears beating the Packers tonight in a meaningful game.

Same thing in eastern pa, I had mine out the last two days, this weather is great. Perfect timing for a mild winter for once, just got mine early last month. I'd be happy if it didnt snow at all this winter and I get to take it out every weekend.

Seems like there was a lot of good weather this weekend across the nation as a bunch of owners got the cars out.

I also went for a spin today. Nice driving around in the afternoon without all the traffic and everyone trying to wipeout my car, just so they could go to a store and get 10% off some goofy sales item.
I then dusted her down and put her to bed till next weekend as long as theres no salt on the road, I'll continue to drive it this winter.

Safety Car
You guys are killing me. Havent been using the car for two months (long story, was waiting on a friend with a lift to do the starter), just said the heck with it and brought it to my regular car mechanic. He did the starter and noticed my inspection was expired (hate that, two year registration and one year inspection gets me every time). So while inspecting the car he notices I have a small bit of cord showing on the left rear tire center, no good, cant pass
Soooo Im waiting on rear tires, and am sure that as soon as I get them, have them installed and get it inspected......its going to snow two feet
Enjoy your cars while you can....Happy motoring

I can finally say something good about NJ. Our great governor passed this idiotic law, as long as you can drive into an inspection station and the check engine light is not lit, and it passes emissions, you PASS. Doesn't matter if the brakes don't work, missing lights, wheels, windows, etc.
