How much Money do you have into your Corvette?

Safety Car
Bought mine (2001) back in December of 2006 for 28K. Paid another 1,200 to get it here from Texas though.
I've bought a battery and some interior mods/stuff for about 400 so far. Had some repair work (window)for maybe another 200.
I've probably spent another 200 on misc Corvette T shirts/vette junk too.
I did sell the glass top from it on here for 400.00 though, so I'm at about 29,600 so far.
So let's call it 30K for 5 years of fun to date and I've still got a great car, so I'm still loving it.
Oops, forgot the future spending part. Probably not a lot, as I have other toys to spend on too.

Just bought an 03 vert with 10k miles. It looks like it just came off the showroom floor. Pure stock with loads of options. By the time I shipped it half way across the country it cost me 28k. Lots of money but I looked a long time and it's the one I wanted and they wouldn't take any less. They had been asking 36k for it and that didn't include shipping so I felt I did ok haggling with them.

How much you purchased the car for.
Bought it recently for $13k with 51500 miles on it. 2001 A4 coupe.
How much you have into mods/service.
less than $500. will prob need to replace the fuel pump module :/
How long you have had it.
A little over a month I think.
Future money planned to invest.
Well since I was able to keep talking the dealer down from the asking price, I figure I can spend 5-6k before I am at the "what I should have paid" point. So probably 5-6K, not counting the fueling issue parts and service LOL.

Bought my 02 Z in Sept of this year with 18k miles on it and gave $25.5 for it. So far, no mods and but have bought the CLB and need to buy new tires for it.

It was a slow bleed for the first 5 years or so. New wheels tyres, clutch, cam, headers, so many catbacks I lost count, harness bar, 5 point belts, then 5 point belts again as they expired, more tyres, brakes and 2 sets of valve springs.
Then in 07 came the major blood letting, race seats, yet more belts, big brakes, really nasty LS7 based 427 with ported heads yet more headers, bigger wheels and tyres, front and rear aero, CF hood, rear fenders, associated paitn worrk, 2 broken cam chains yet another clutch and I dont even have the cage in yet
People under estimate how much they spend as it is a lot.
I also put 90,000 miles on the car in the same time period so at about $1 per mile, er smile I believe it was worth it in the long run.
Although, I will admit that over 80,000 of thos emiles where before the big mods got done - the stock car was super reliable, the modded one - not so much LOL

Paid 28K back in 2002
Spent another 80K + in the last 9 years on engines, supercharging, transmissions, roll cage, suspension, rims, tires, you name it.
That don't include the 20K stock 99 FRC I bought, because my 97 is too fast for the street now.
