Default Plasti-Dip Bra (pics)

No you dummies.....I didn't plasti-dip some bewbage!

Good idea though....couldn't find a volunteer..

But I did throw some Dip on the front of my 2000FRC as a Bra to see how it would work.

I did it last night. Leaving for a Thanksgiving trip and wanted to see how it would hold up.

I'll post up results when I get back.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody.......

Here is the result of my trip.

620 miles of Florida bugs.

Soap and water. I wasn't to careful with the sponge because I will be peeling this off this weekend and I wanted to see how it would hold up to hard rubbing. I was surprised how well it held up. I had a couple small spots rub off. That would not have happened if I was more careful.

I peeled off the headlight covers to see what that looks like.

It's a multi-purpose rubber coating that can be easily removed

If you don't like this simple design then you will really hate what I did in this thread.

And it explains just about everything you need to know about Plasti-Dip.

I like but think it would be better without the pop up lights covered.

I do my license plate cover with ghosted in logo's with plastidip. You should try some ghost flames or something fun like that for your next project

Do you own stock in the Plati-Dip company?
You are certainly making it a one of a kind, good or bad.

i have used plasti dip on old wheels and it holds up very well and doesnt need prep work so its literally spray, dry and go.

Noticed you have some extensive experience with plasti dip, pretty creative with the spray can I can tell by the second link you posted. Out of curiosity, how well does the plasti dip hold up to car washing on the body panels you painted? I was thinking of plasti dipping the bottom part of the rear fascia on my C5 but was worried about the exposed edge peeling once I ran a wash mitt over it.

Looks good. I wonder how long before someone "dips" their entire vehicle
