Pics...MCM Hood and Stripes Mod
Well I finally got the MCM hood put on that I picked up from Mikes94ZLT1 about a month ago! The stripes didn't turn out exactly the way I wanted, but they are fine for now. I'm planning on making custom stripes this winter that are a combo of the MCM1 and MCM3 stripes from vettestripes (I thought that is what I was getting). Here are some pics, my wife hooked me up with a free photoshoot

The hood fits pretty nice, Mike had it on his car and I think it is on of the original MCM hoods, so it was just bolt on and go. I'm no body man so it could use a little more tweaking on the alignment to be perfect. I wanted the red portion of the hood stripes to be black so I could put them tight to the edge, then an accent stripe in red like the CE stripes I had on my stock hood. Somehow the communication broke down on what I wanted compared to what I got...so luckily I have a friend who can help me get what I wanted!! Or I may just take them off completely and have the center of the hood painted black. All white is too plain for my taste...

Nice composition and decent photos for a 6 MP camera. Free Photoshoot? Not sure what thats all about... A Nikon D70 is not normally a camera you would call a photoshoot camera. The one nice thing is she has an eye for composition.. I'd get her a better camera. Car is beautiful. Stripes and all.

I love white Corvettes and white cars in general. Living in the Phoenix AZ. area, white is the number 1 color of all cars sold here, silver is number 2. Love the hood.
