Thinking of switching from Borla stingers to Corsa Indy....ADVICE PLEASE!!!
I have an A4 with LG Pro LT headers. Last week I replaced my Borla stingers which were way too loud with TI's. Now it's a little too quiet and I don't like the way the tips dont come out as far and are not flush with my tiger shark rear. I'm thinking of switching to the Corsa Indy (Pace Car) system.
Is the Corsa pace car exhaust nearly as loud as the Borla's? I didn't mind the drone on the Borla's so much but the loudness above 2500 RPM's was killing me. I'm looking for something closer to the TI's....maybe the Corsa touring is what I need? Looking for advice on what to do. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!!!!

I have the Corsa Indy system on my A4 and I love it. No drone at all and a nice rumble at idle. When you get on it, you know you have an aftermarket exhaust on the car.

Do you have headers on yours? I really think it makes a huge difference with headers. I'm just hoping that the Corsa pace car is not too loud with headers.

IMHO the Indy's or Sport / Pace Car is about the perfect set up for
a Header car.
Loud when you get on it, quites down nicely on the HYW
C5 Corvette Corsa Sport Car Back Exhaust

So I heard people say that I should get the Corsa X-pipe as well because it improves the sound. What does it do?.....quiet it down or make it louder?....or does it make it sound more throaty?

I have Kooks LT's with a Kooks catted X pipe and Corsa Pace Car or as they are now called, Sport system.
They sound great, and as someone mentioned, they sound like a Indy Car at WOT. I love the sound and the no drone.
But one thing worth mentioning, with a Tirger Shark rear end - you probably should consider the Tiger Shark set up available from Corsa - it places all four tips together so that it will fit in the opening of the rear facia. It was designed specifically for the Tiger Shark.

My biggest worry is that the Corsa pace car will be as loud as the Borla stingers. I know there will be no drone but I hate passing someone at half throttle and having everyone on the street hear me.
My Borlas sounded great below 2500rpms but at 3000rpms they sounded the same as 6000rpms which is what i hated. Someone please tell me that Corsas are not the same.

FWIW -I have Corsa Indys's (tigershark) but no headers = nice rumble at idle, just loud enuf up to redline. If i was to add headers I'd move down to Touring (Tigershark tips) most posts i've seen had the owner stepping down to Touring.
I wouldn't want my Corsa Indy's any louder, and LT's would definitely to that.....
