Default Introducing "The Chiller"!!!!

THE CHILLER

Looking to optimize the SLP Donaldson Blackwing or similar style air filter that is already installed on your C5 Corvette? Look no further! American Hydrocarbon is pleased to announce the availability of The Chiller. This cleverly designed cover mounts over your Blackwing filter concealing it from the hot, performance robbing air within the C5’s engine bay. Once the radiator shroud is cut out to correspond to The Chiller; cold, dense air will now be efficiently drawn into the Blackwing filter from the positive pressure environment in front of the radiator.

Features:
• OEM fit and finish
• Easy installation
• 100% real carbon fiber construction (Hydrocarbon also available)
• Blackwing filter now accesses cooler, denser air from outside the engine compartment
• Lower Intake air temperatures means less timing pull for maximum performance!

Complete installation instructions, template and ss mounting hardware included.

List $298.00
Introductory Special - $250.00 Good until Jan 1st.
Flat Rate $15.00 UPS Shipping

Fiberglass Model in black primer - $140.00

Call or PM to order

Honest opinion here. Absolutely love the fact us Blackwing guys are getting some attention. Love the look, fully understand carbon fiber isn't cheap, but $290 is $45 more than an entire shipped Vararam.

I'm not trying to debate CAI vs CAI, just pointing out the barrier to entry as far as $ are concerned. Maybe an entry level product would intice a few more buyers??

Again, not trying to start anything, just a thought.

Your product does look very put together though.

Mike

I like it alot as well! Now you just need to make them out of regular abs plastic! Carbon looks great and is an awesome option, but I'd Like to spend less on something Like this!

Awesome product though!

I built this in real carbon for a forum member so I thought I would put it out there to see what the reaction was. I am considering doing them in ABS as it would really lower the costs involved.
Stay tuned. (hydro would be the same as the carbon for now.)

It was a good idea to bring those back to the after market, Pat.

Going to make some fiberglass ones seeing as I already have a mold. Stay tuned for lower pricing in black satin! Hydrocarbon will be an upgrade option.
