Haven't seen one for sale in a while, but if you consider going new, Quik Z06 sells one that looks like it I believe.

I see them once in a while in the F/S section, but it's pretty rare and you have to be quick. Looking for the higher blower hood,or the better looking(imo) regular hood?

Motor city Mold company
Motor city mold company no longer exisits as the premier Carbon fiber hood company. It was always a three man operation.. Death of his best friend and the #2 man of the operation has cause Mike the owner to close up shop 4 years ago, Those MCM hood where a labor of love... he sold the three molds he designed and made to Eckler's and to BBP.. To my knowledge and the Fact that Mike is terminally ill . I dont think you will find anything as good as the original MCM hood. It took them almost a week to make one hood, using their process. which is what made them so good. The few molds that are out there were used to make Fiberglass, hand Layup hoods, but no where near the quality of Mike's , MCM hoods.

I think the tiger shark hood is very close, not sure of the quality.. any one who owns a MCM hood will tell you that there was no fit issues at all... its was paint it and put it on... That kind of quality is very hard to find.. also Mike's hoods were vacuum formed hoods.. when the molds were designed they were designed for a vacuum formed shrink factor... if those original molds are used without the original vacuum formed process, they will not be the same size... hand lay up fiberglass and vacuum formed carbon fiber are two different animals. Its a real shame too because Mike had just moved into a new facility and was going to up the employee number, he had just bought a truck load of Carbon fiber.. and then his # 2 man died... and six months later Mike took very sick. There is such a demand for this high quality hood, I expect someone might make them at some point. He was collaboration with me on designing a new front and rear fascia when he took sick.

Talked to Phil said they have been making them for a while, and have had no issues. Ordered mine this morning. Cannot be any worse than what was recently sold to me.
