Default Introducing VetteNuts VetteBins and Partitions

VetteNuts VetteBins and Partition Combo For your C5!
VetteNuts is proud to reintroduce the VetteBin to the Corvette community.

These are hand made from 1/2" MDF and weigh in at 20lbs for both. We take great pride in producing a high quality product with attention to detail.

These come standard with Push to open Lock/Latches with keys!

There are lots of options to choose from to customize these any way you want them.We offer *LED lighting for the storage compartments so you can see whats inside in low lighting conditions and it adds a custom look. These come on when the door is opened and are off when the door is closed. Also the Gas Struts are a great option so the door stays open when storing your personal items.

The Center Storage Tray is another option for easy/quick storage. We also offer *LED Lighting for this, we provide instructions and wiring on how to make this light come on/off when the car doors/hatch are opened!

* LED Lighting in various colors.

These will work with Coupes, Z06's and Convertibles.
For Coupe owners you can store your targa top with no issues!

Coupe: Interior dimensions for each compartment are 9.75" x 20" x 2'. If ordered without a center divider it would be 40.75"
Z06: Interior dimensions for each compartment are 15.5" x 20" x 2"
Convertible: 14" x 20" x 2
Starting at $195!

Z06 Version

We can customize these to accommodate amps or even add tv screens in the partition!

Here is one with a custom logo option.

I like these bins!

1. Are you going to be at Carlisle with these?
2. Do you have any pix of a bin in a 'vert?

You list the interior dimensions of each bin for the Z06 & Coupe. Which applies to the convertible, or are they different?
If ordered without the center tray, does it come with just one big door, or are there still two?

Thanks, and sorry you can't make Carlisle.

Convertible sizes added. 14" x 20"x 2" The Vert Edition will still come with two doors. We can do pretty much anything you want so if you have other ideas in mind we can produce it.

OK, can you tell me the distance from the center of one lock to the outside edge, left or right? I'm trying to see where the lock ends up in relation to the seat back, and in my case, the seat hoops.

Also, how about an option for ***** instead of locks? All I need is another set of keys to lose...

The distance from the latch to the outside of the door is 8.5". We are working on our first Convertible VetteBin for my Dad's vert this weekend.

My vendor only offers latches with locks. If you never lock it you will not need the keys.

Actually, I am looking for the distance from the lock to the very outside edge of the complete unit, not just the bin door. This will tell me where the lock falls in relation to my seat hoop. I want to see if I'll be able to reach thru the hoop to open a bin. If the lock is centered within the hoop it'll just make it easier to reach, that's all.

After rereading your specs I see that the lock is a push-in and turn, so I don't have to use the keys.

We are assembling the VetteBin for the Vert now. We are making some changes to the door versus what you see on the coupe version. Also they are going to be 19" deep. Its gonna be the largest of all of them and hold a lot of items. Pics coming in the next hour or so.

Ok here are the pics of the new design for the convertibles. We are going to incorporate a separate open storage bin in the rear of it. We can leave it as one large bin or divide it into two. What do you guys and girls think? It will all be carpeted.
Here is another idea. We could reverse the open bin to the front and the doors to the rear. Opinions?

OK, this shows me that the latches are centered pretty much with the seat backs, which is good.

Now, I already have a partition that slants towards the front and under the top when stowed, whereas your partition goes straight down. So, the extra tray behind your bins won't work for anyone with a similar partition as mine.

If you consider making a "trunkated" version for the convertible owner who has a partition style similar to mine, I've come up with some dimensions that will work for us.

The 11" depth is what is available to the point where our slanted partition starts. Another critical dimension is the 7" depth to the back of the bin door, where the hinge is. This allows the bins to open with the top stowed, as you undoubtedly already know. The other dimensions can vary.

Another idea just occurred to me. Instead of making one big 19" unit for the convertibles (which won't work for some of us), why not make an 11" AND an 8"? That way everyone's "covered".

I was thinking about adding something like this to me 04 coupe but the top half of the partition was going to be made of Plexiglas so that I could still see out the back. Got anything that seals off the trunk area in a coupe?

I think your onto something here. We can do them in a 2 section partition so you can choose between the two. I will work on one first of next week.
